Chapter 79 - SIMPLEST AND HARDEST DECISION 16.2

Tyrell and Jessica didn't relent, hitting her with spells.

Their spells clashed together. Red light met white.

Two forces against one.

Fina moved her wand forward, the white light becoming stronger against theirs.

She didn't backed down.

She hadn't felt more alive than this moment. The strength she was sharing with her wand surging through her.

Fina did something she had never done before, she curved her wand and the red light being casted her way also curved and hit Jessica Young.

Jessica's eyes widened in horror as she hit the nearest glass wall and her body melted to the ground like wax. Her eyes and brain was the last to melt.

Coco, blinded stepped on the wax and fell with a thud.

That infuriated Tyrell and he hit Fina with dark spells so fast she wasn't able to dodge them all.

Fina's left hand became limp as if broken and she dropped her wand.

Tyrell didn't hesitate, he casted a dark spell which she dodged easily.

As she kept twisting, fighting for her life, the effect of the poison became stronger and she felt nauseous.

Tyrell didn't stop but Fina outsmarted him when she escaped into the palest glass.

She had been calculating and moving closer to the glass.

His darkened walls had broken when the glass exploded.

Tyrell moved from walls to another, chasing Fina and cursing her with dark spells.

Fina walked slowly into another glass whenever she sensed his presence.

Blood poured out of her mouth but she didn't stop moving.

She wasn't going to let Tyrell get the book no matter what.

They entered through walls, each on its own task.

Tyrell broke down the walls with his wand.

Fina entered through another wall and stopped when she saw the book.

She ran to it but was too late. Tyrell yanked at her hair hard and pushed her to the wall.

Fina held out her hand before she could reach the wall and fell down instead.

"You want this?" Tyrell said as he picked the book from the floor. "None of you can read this. None of you can understand it" Tyrell said angrily.

His face had completely changed. He looked more evil right now than ever.

Fina watched as he unlocked the coded book and threw his head back in deafening laughter.

"My mission is complete" He said and began to read from the book.

Fina's body became hot all over and she screamed.

"I'm going alone" Tyrell said "Will you come with me? I guess they will take a liking to you. They only take strong ones"

The same way it had happened with the demons, her body cooled over. But Tyrell didn't burn.

He looked shocked and confused.

He read another spell from the book.

A stronger spell.

Dark light forced out of the book even Tyrell was perplexed.

He stumbled forward.

The book flew out of his hand as the light descended upon them.

Fina rushed towards the opened book, not caring what the light meant.

It took Tyrell a while to realize the book was in her hand.

He didn't do anything.

He laughed.

Hard. Doubling over in amusement.

Fina didn't let that bother her either. She didn't know what she was doing or what was happening but kept on anyway.

She began to read spells from the book while Tyrell continued to laugh.

Tears were in his eyes now.

He didn't stop. At all.

He stopped when the dark light gathered together and lunged at him.

"No. No. No!!!!"

Fina read on.

Not understanding a single word. She wasn't herself anymore. It felt like someone else was reading the book. It felt like someone else was casting dark spells.

And that person understands. Because that person opened another page as if she had been reading the book all her life.

That person read through the other page. Completely.

The world around them tilted.

Demons appeared, surrounding Tyrell.

He raised his wand to cast a spell but they snatched it from him.

The red eye.

Fina stopped reading the book and watched on.

That person watched on.

The demons began to chant. They chanted and chanted, their red eye glaring with heat.

Tyrell cried in pain.

"The Masters sent me. I am one of you. I am one of you! I am one of you! I am one of you!" Tyrell cried repeatedly.

"We listen to the Master and the Master has read from the book. The Master has ordered your death"

Tyrell looked at Fina. Horror in his eyes.

"Who are you?" He asked with so much emotion Fina shivered.

The fact that she wasn't supposed to understand the book must have made him perplexed.

The demons didn't stop chanting.

Fina closed her ears as Tyrell screamed in pain.

Just like Carly Brooklyn.

He screamed and screamed, his cries echoing through the walls.

It was deafening.

Then, he began to melt.

The demons pulled on his limbs one by one but Tyrell pale eyes never left Fina's.

As if her existence was a puzzle.

Fina closed her eyes when the demons removed his eyes and threw them away. She didn't open them when they removed his head like it didn't weighed anything.

She didn't open her eyes when the demons turned to her.

"What the Masters wants, the Masters gets. And the Master order have been fulfilled"

Then, they vanished.

Blood surged out of her mouth.

Every part of her hurts and she lay on the ground in pain.

Her eyes became heavy. The blood didn't stop. She kept vomiting it until she felt all drained.

Tyrell's bones and flesh littered everywhere.

She stared at nothing wondering what sort of poison was coursing through her body right that moment.

The book was beside her, closed and forgotten as her eyes drifted shut.

Everything became silent.

Something covered her eyes. A feather?

She was back in the forest. The image of a half dead girl lying on the ground as the rain beats her eyes came into focus.

Everything changed and she found herself covered in blood.

Like a battlefield. Like war.

She saw Jay and he shouted her name.

Fina shouted in response but before she could run over to him, someone slit his throat and he went down.

She froze, watched as everyone around her began to die. Everyone around her began to fall.

Blood spilled on her face.

"Fina!"

"Ros! Roslyn!" Fina shouted, searching frantically for her sister.

"Fina!" Roslyn screamed.

Someone was dragging her away.

A dark demon.

She ran fast towards it but everything changed again.

It was dark; she couldn't see anything except the feeling that her hands and feet were tied.

The sound of water drops as it hits the floor. The rapid heartbeat. The darkness as it overwhelmed every part of her.

She knew she was in a different world. Again.

And the horrifying truth was that….it always seems so real.

Then, as it always happened, she heard screaming somewhere and froze.

The footsteps. It's coming closer. She could hear the voices again.

More screaming.

It's closer. They are closer.

She tried to stand but couldn't. Every drop of water means a second and another until she heard the door opens and….

Everything changed again.

"Don't open the door!" She heard someone scream. "Don't open the door! Don't open the door!"

"Don't let it wake. Don't open it! Don't wake the other one!" The voice cried in anguish. "Don't wake the other one! Don't wake the other one!"

Fina opened her eyes to see the Ascergill.

"What's it going to be?" He asked.

"If… I die?"

"The other evil will wake. Your dream will come true" The Ascergill said in a sweet tone.

"Choose wisely. You are worthy"

"What does that mean?"

"To leave peacefully. But your's different. You are worthy to choose. To choose between life and death. To beat death"

"Who's the other one?" Fina asked breathlessly.

"Someone whose name must never be spoken of. Someone who must never be brought back to this world again. Someone who well destroy everything in it's path"

"And if I die?"

"You will have to defeat death so many times until one of you defeat each other completely"

Blood surged out of her mouth again.

"What's it going to be?" The Ascergill asked

She looked up to see the Reaper already in front of her. His recording book in hand. His dark quill ready for record.

"You'll keep seeing him or he stops seeing you. He wont run his scythe over you. You'll be buried"

"Death is better for you." The reaper said

"I choose to -
