Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Ambush?

Location: In Universe 17823 - AKA The Gigassal Universe

At Sector 1205 - In Galaxy A159

Universe Threat Level: Primordial +

Universe Energy Type: Emilick Energy

In the vastness of space, a figure was passing by monolith shape asteroids the size of planets while traveling at great speed. He started to approach a super gas giant 75 times bigger than the Sun, as if its gravitational pull meant nothing to him. The figure was mumbling to himself as if he was looking for something. When all of a sudden, he turns to look at the gas giant he already passed halfway.

BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

A Planet Explodes. A flash so bright it could be seen from outside the galaxy. The explosive force sent an enormous shock wave shooting in all directions, destroying the surrounding matter.

***On A Remote Asteroid***

1,105,700 light-years away, eight stalkers could be seen standing on an asteroid ten times the size of 'Earth'. A few of them were staring at a giant screen floating in front of them, as it distorted the space around it. It was showing the place the explosion just took place, while others were just looking in the direction of the explosion with their own eyes.

"Do you think he's dead?"

"We added as much of our energy to the core of the planet as we could. In a way that would go unnoticed all to increase the destructive force of the blast. And this entire sector had its space locked the moment the blast went off to block his escape and to stop him from summoning his machines, he's dead."

"Look at us, even with our combined power we can't block that explosion even if we knew it was coming. He took the entire brunt of the explosion completely by surprise. There was even that surprise that entity gave us to really kill him. Even by his standards he would need a miracle to survive."

"Mmm, but still to not just kill the gods, but to turn them into batteries to power his machines, completely unforgivable."

"Bahahaha!!! Serves him right, to provoke so many forces he did not know how to live. What do you think shiny?"

"With the data we've managed to collect from our battles with him. And the data we were given, the probability of his survival is abysmal but…. His two companions might pose a problem if they don't show up. The male was the one who did most of the fighting, but when the two females did make a move, their enemies would die in seconds. They can force any sentient beings to not notice their presence, even if they're right next to you. But for some odd reason, they haven't used it to attack their enemies, we guess they likely use it to avoid annoyances. Although we came up with countermeasures we don't know if they will be effective. How far this power goes, well… I don't think anyone of us here noticed them, until they actually spoke."

""""""""...""""""""

"If they use this to hide in the multitude of universes, the chances of finding them is close to zero. Add that to the fact, that they're extremely powerful. Well, we all better forget about living anymore. And with the data we have now, we now know that none of them ever showed their true powers. They would only increase it when they fought someone stronger. That was made even more clear two years ago, the day that came to be known as the 'Day of Reckoning'. When the home-world of our cultivator friend here was nearly destroyed."

The silhouette that was talking turned to look at the cultivator who was showing an expression of intense anger.

"At the time, we thought they were just another ignorant group that didn't know how high the heavens are. Even if they were strong, we had more than 10,600,000 Immortal Gods in our alliance. Not even counting the '12 Thrones'. While they only had 1,300,000 of his so-called machines, along with the trash that sided with them. So we didn't put them in our eyes. Even when the oracles warned us that ever since the decision to go to war was made. The future had turned unclear, which was extremely ominous. But no one listened, everyone was already blinded with greed, fame, and glory. To back down, even when we had an overwhelming advantage in number and power, every sect that joined the alliance would lose face. Even if we didn't know the outcome of the battle, we all thought we would be victorious... but… the result… was beyond understanding..."

His body couldn't help but tremble, while he squeezed his fist in anger just from recalling that event.

"It was all that witch's fault!! If she didn't convince me to attack them, all of this could have been avoided."

When he said that, one of the silhouettes that looked like some sort of beast with wings started to laugh like he had just heard the most funniest thing on earth.

"Who are you trying to fool, we all saw the information. Even if that woman didn't tell you, not just you but your whole world would have reached the same end. What's the point of living so long when all you cultivators turn brain dead when it truly matters. Even when you cultivators died in droves from your own stupidity, how do you cultivators respond? Bahaha, you try to shift the blame and say 'You dare to kill the people of my whatever sect today you will die'. Bahahaha, you morons kept doing this from the 'Mortal Plane', 'Immortal Plane', to your so-called 'God Plane' until your entire universe eventually fell. And where were your so-called Ancestral Elders through all this, oh yeah…! They were even worse, 'It seems I need to come out for a while', bahahaha like some old Neet would solve everything."

When the figure started talking, he couldn't help but laugh in between his words as he recalled the things he saw in the data.

"You cultivators look down on your mortal roots, saying cultivators are an entirely new species and I must agree. I've come to the conclusion they are indeed a new species, a species with a brain the size of an amoeba. At least mortals have a brain the size of an acorn. It was already a miracle that so many arrogant people, with egos the size of planets, could even live together for so long. It was only a matter of time before your universe was discovered by a higher force, and your arrogant world would provoke someone they shouldn't have. You cultivators, are nothing more than an embarrassment to the universe. The power you cultivators painstakingly get, I get in my sleep. Even this guy over here was more powerful at bending reality when he was born than what most cultivators can do in their entire lifetime."

The figure pointed a claw to a lanky humanoid who was still looking at the screen like this entire conversation had nothing to do with him. But the cultivator didn't even turn to look, his eyes were already seething in a murderous rage. As he glared at the figure who basically just said his entire life was an embarrassment. Just when he was about to attack he felt a strange chill down his back that froze him in place. He turns to look knowing where it came from, as his eyes looked up to make contact with a figure as large as a twenty-story building.

"YOU KNOW THE RULES NO FIGHTING UNTIL THE PLAN IS COMPLETE!"

Even though it spoke normally, it sounded like thunder encompassing everything. The super-Earth size asteroid they were standing on started to tremble. As space around it started to ripple. Even the image on the screen was lost for several seconds. One could imagine the power this giant had at its disposal with that one sentence. The massive figure didn't even turn to look at him, just kept staring at where their target was. The cultivator could only hold back his anger, he couldn't ruin his best chance at getting his revenge. He would never forget the day that his entire life was destroyed. He was a god, and now look at him, he couldn't even do as he pleased anymore. He will make sure they all pay a hundred— no, a thousandfold for all the humiliation he had to endure.

Even the figure that was mocking the cultivator just now stopped talking. Even he did not want to get on the bad side of this giant that was currently leading them. He just wanted to hurry and test out the new powers that were given to them.

"Now nothing can stop me from assimilating that universe, my power is about to get a whole lot bigger."

"With this, I can pull his secrets out of his corpse, as for his other two companions, their time will come."

The last two figures didn't even bother answering the first figure's question. To them that surprise that entity gave them along with their increase in power was all the reinsurance they needed. Even if he survived, he would be in no shape to fight back against the eight of them.

'These fools do they actually believe it's that easy to kill a true Primordial level threat.'

The current leader of this group of stalkers thought, 'All the preparation I had to make. I even had to ask my creator for help, as long as I kill him before he transforms it's my win. Absorbing the energy from a true Primordial, I can only imagine how much stronger I'll get. As for these finite creatures they will make good insurance.'

"Let's go, his two companions should have discovered the anomalies by now, most of the destructive energies should have weakenED AS WELL, stay alert!"

As the eight stalkers disappeared, the spot that they were standing on started to have cracks appearing, they kept growing at incredible speed as it ripped through rock and metal, until canyon size fissures spread throughout the entire asteroid. In mere seconds the asteroid shattered into pieces.

***At The Explosion Radius***

As the eight silhouettes appeared at a distance from where the former planet use to be. You could see that all eight had different types of energy shields covering them from the outside. The scattered energy from the explosion kept attacking their shields as if it was trying to eradicate everything. They scanned the surroundings but saw nothing but distorted space and massive dimensional tears… along with bizarre phenomena. Not a single piece of debris was spared. If seen from the outside, you could see a colossal void where the former galaxy use to be.

"Do you think his corpse fell into one of those dimensional tears?"

"His energy signature was indeed here, but it disappeared, so it's a possibility. Although we prepare for something like this, this is still a worst-case scenario. These dimensions only house Nova to Attractor level beings and, if we're unlucky, Primordial level ones. We need to act fast before one of those things gets to him."

The one talking started to move towards some dimensional tears.

"His energy signature disappeared here so one of these three should be the right one."

Only seven stalkers turned their heads to where the silhouette that looked like a machine pointed.

"I bet we all knew dimensions existed within our universes, but none of us could even have imagined just how dangerous these places are. Let alone, that these monstrosities existed within them, living right next to us if it wasn't for the data we saw."

"This only shows how little we know about dimensions, and proves that craving for greater strength wasn't wrong."

"Enough. We will split up into teams of two then…"

As the seven stalkers were talking about the next course of action, their leader was still looking around.

'Something's not right, I can barely feel the energy of my creator... it shouldn't have weakened this fast, and to the extent that these seven can resist it without my help.'

"EVERYONE STOP WHAT YOU..."

Before he could finish his words, a massive flash of dark violet mows them all down. A single slap. All these stalkers are now rolling through space.

"Not so fun getting ambushed, is it, guys."

""""""""AAAAHHH!!""""""""

When the eight heard that relaxed voice, like an act of instinct. They wanted to unleash their full might, not caring for pretense. But all they did was scream in agony. The pain that felt, like their very existence was slowly being eaten from the inside out. The pain that felt, as if their very energy had gained self-awareness and was now trying to rip itself out of their owners. Their minds, bodies, and souls were writhing in pain, screaming in agony like they were being gnawed at by something unseen. Their physical forms started to get holes, gashes, corrosions, and necrosis across their entire bodies. As the wounds started to grow with some sort of black-violet energy seeping from them. As the edge of their bodies started to fade out of existence. The screams of pain that felt like an eternity, even though only a few seconds had passed. The person who spoke didn't bother attacking again but continued speaking.

"Don't worry, you won't die, I still have a use for y'all. I guess I should at least fix everyone to the point where you all can understand words. But damn, that stuff fucked you guys up. Where on earth did guys like you get energy from a Cosmic level being? You know that stuff isn't made for kids right. Well, first things first, better fix these dimensional tears before we get some unwanted company."

While he was talking most of the dimensional tears were already fixed. While the bodies of the seven were slowly being restored. Most only had their torsos left while others were only inches away from completely disappearing. The leader looks like he was faring better since he had the least parts missing. He restored them to the point where they stomped screaming and most of their bodies gained physical form again. But they still retained the injuries and damage they had just received throughout their bodies.

"You know life must be great, here you are trying to kill me and here I am helping you. Although, I am the reason y'all ended up like this…... meh details. But to think, the supposed strongest beings of your respected universes would actually team-up. Otherworlder Mizuho, Cultivator Zhong, Beast God, Cyberlife, Elementis, Omega Gene, Alien God, and..."

The voice that seemed amused stopped mid-way as if trying to recall if he knew this last guy. He looked at the giant leader of the stalkers for a few seconds before the voice sounded in surprise.

"Holy Shet, Elishem… Elishem The Ravager, is that you!? What happen man!? Last time I saw you, you were bigger than a galaxy. I thought you said looking more humanoid was a disgrace to you. Did you take my advice and lose some weight or don't tell me you did this just to kill me. But why, among the eight of you, I believe you and I have the least amount of hatred. Sure I beat you into a pulp, but you tried to eat me, that was completely self-defense."

It looked liked Elishem had some logical thinking left since his one eye looked like it was already on the verge of spitting out magma.

"Hum... a lot of familiar faces, how did you guys even find me? If my memory serves me correctly, I don't think anyone among you have the capability of doing that... well maybe Elishem and Omega Gene might. But I highly doubt that."

As the eight were still recovering from their hellish experience. They eventually stabilize themselves enough to run logical thought, they understood just how fucked they were. They tried to move their bodies but realize they were locked in place by some sort of force. They tried to scan the area with whatever method each of them possessed. Trying to locate the owner of the voice. Until they saw him materialize out of nowhere. Even in this abysmal darkness the explosion created they could still see. When they saw his figure, their eyes almost popped out of their sockets, as if they just saw an impossibility. There were no injuries on his body, not even his clothing was damaged. Only they knew, just how powerful that blast was just now and that further increase their shock.

"How can this...?!"

"How can this what? How can I be this awesome?"
