When we arrived at the cabin, Mark and other members of the pack were already there, preparing for tonight.
"Raina, I want you and Lexie to man the tranquilizer guns tonight." Mark turned to Lexie. "Do you think you can handle it?"
Lexie nodded. "Of course. I've got this."
"Mark, I can't," Raina said, frowning. "I'm on guard duty at my Uncle Carl's house tonight."
"That's right. We need to make sure that the teacher is cured," Mark replied.
"I can do it," said Lucas, a guy from school who must be a new shifter. "I go hunting all the time with my father."
"Good," Mark replied, and then motioned toward the pack, "Everyone, come on in."
Michelle skipped over to me and gave me a quick hug. "It's about time you got here."
"I told my dad what happened," I said in a low voice.
