"So, you really think you might be able to find a cure… for his condition?" I asked Tiara, moving along in the lunch line as Michelle listened attentively.
Tiara nodded. "Yes. Technically, it's an antiserum. It's a longshot, but we have to try." She took a salad and an iced tea and then moved forward in line, keeping her voice low. "I spoke with my Aunt Crystal and she gave me a spell, but she doesn't know if it will work for sure."
"What did your mom say about you talking to your aunt?" I remembered that Tiara had said that her mother wanted nothing to do with her sister, Tiara's aunt. I took a salad and a lemonade, and so did Michelle.
A smile lit her lips. "She didn't know."
"So, do you really think it'll work?" I asked, heading over to the table.
Tiara shrugged. "Well, we won't know for sure until the next full moon, but it's worth a try."
"Which means that... you know who... will need to be locked up, just in case," Michelle replied, picking up her tray.
