"Are you sure you don't want to come in?" I asked Dakota when he dropped me off.
Dakota shook his head. "No, I'm going to see if Micah can go with me over to the cabin. I want to check it out to make sure it's stable before the next full moon... just in case."
"I can go with you, if you like," I said. "I can have Tiara meet us over there."
Dakota shrugged. "You want to? But you don't have to."
"Yeah, sure," I replied. "Let me change clothes and I'll be ready in a few minutes."
Dakota shut off the engine. "No rush. I'll text Micah while you're getting ready."
I nodded. "Be right back."
Dakota had his phone out and started texting. "Take your time."
I hurried inside, taking my backpack with me. I hurried to my room, stripped out of my clothes, and donned a T-shirt, jeans, and tennis shoes. I also grabbed a jacket, too, and then headed downstairs, left a note for Dad, and then headed out.
Dakota got out of the car and opened the passenger side door when I walked out. "Ready?"
