The following day, the dull humdrum of school droned on as I moved from class to class, knowing there would be an end. The only thing that made it bearable was knowing I would see Jessica throughout the day. Those were my favorite classes; the ones I shared with Jess.
Since I had several college degrees and high school diplomas, I knew the material frontwards, backward, and sideways but never wanted to seem like a know-it-all jerk.
But throughout the day, I couldn't help but think about the plan that we follow Anae and Necos to find out once and for all if they were the ones responsible for the murders, but I didn't want to put Jessica in harm's way.
Michael had warned me not to do it, having read my mind. That's when Jessica got upset. But there was no way that I was going to tell her what I was planning.
