Later that evening, Dakota and I were on our way to the cabin for the first Pack Meeting since the summer ended, and Mom and Dad had promised to meet us there.
"Do you think that Anae and Necos were the ones who killed Durlan?" I asked on the way. I looked out the window, and the leaves were changing to red, orange, and yellow. Fall was in full swing.
Dakota shrugged, turning down another road. "I'm not sure, but we have to find out. We can't let whoever is killing everyone to continue. But thank goodness they're leaving the humans alone."
"Yeah, but Durlan didn't deserve to die." I let out a deep breath. "I wonder how we can find out who did it?"
