"So, tell me about this girl that has been putting the moves on Dakota," Michael said when we were back in his red convertible, driving away from The Circle of Serenity Academy.
I sighed, looking out the window. Even though we had spent several hours with Auria discussing the murders, it was still daylight. I looked at the clock, and it read four o'clock.
"Is that the right time?" I asked, unable to believe what I saw.
Michael smirked. "Time goes slower at the Academy. Remember?"
I nodded, remembering when I had visited Auria with Dakota, and the time never seemed to pass.
"Stop changing the subject."
"I'm not."
"Yes, you are." Michael looked at me and smiled, taking his eyes off the road as we drove along the winding, narrow road down Magic Mountain.
"Keep your eyes on the road."
"I am."
"No, you're not."
