Lucas and Brady came into the Granby Diner, looked around, and then Lucas headed over to Millie and her family, and Brady sat with the pack. Candy was there, sitting with Dylan. I would have to find out if she quit the diner, or if she was just off.
Millie's father looked surprised to see Lucas there but stood and shook his hand. Millie dating—especially a Nephilim—was going to take her parents a while to get used to. But then again, when both Millie and Michelle turned eighteen, they would both become a Nephilim, since they were both children of Earthangels.
After we finished eating, Michael nodded toward us. I looked out the window and the day was quickly fading.
"Dad, I think it's time to go." Dakota slid out of the booth and I followed. "We need to get to the cabin early so we can coordinate."
Mom finished her iced tea and slid out of the booth as my father laid some bills on the table.
