After the night we had with Jasmine, and then the Mind Meld and exorcism, I was exhausted by the time my head hit the pillow and Dakota lay down beside me.
"Come here," he said, pulling me to his side.
"Dakota," I said, curling up on his chest. "Do you think we should call Julien and Lacey to come? I have a feeling that the Devil will come back with an army tonight." I sat up. "I know it's short notice, but we could use all the help we could get."
He shrugged, sitting up beside me. "It probably couldn't hurt." He rubbed my back, sincerity coloring his eyes. "Would you like me to call him?"
I shook my head. "No. I will." I slid out of bed, grabbed my cell phone, and sat next to Dakota again.
"Hello? Julien here," he said, answering on the first ring. It was rare when someone so high up in rank is that accessible.
