"Go talk to Mark and get your assignments," I said to the newest members of our pack, starting to walk away.
They headed off, except for Ray and Rico.
I let out a deep breath, placing my hands on my hips. Then I walked back to them, keeping my voice low as I looked into their eyes. "Look. If you're serious about becoming members of this pack, you will have to learn how to take orders. Can you handle that?"
Ray clenched his jaw as the Rogues with Mark looked around.
"It's your call, Ray," I added as Dakota waited by my side. "But if you do this, you are no longer in charge."
He nodded and then headed off toward Mark to get his assignment.
Rico looked into my eyes and then walked away, glancing back at me over his shoulder.
"They might cause trouble." Dakota walked with me to the other side of the cabin. "Ray and Rico."
