One good thing about summer was that we could sleep in and didn't have to worry about school during the full moon cycle. Dakota and I slept in the next day, and soon it was time to go back to the cabin.
We had a cookout with the pack before we left, cleaned up, and then headed out.
"So, do you think the Devil will appear during this full moon cycle?" I asked as Dakota drove us to the cabin.
He shrugged. "I'm not sure, but we should prepare for anything." Dakota glanced over at me, his lips forming a straight line. "Be careful. Last time, the Devil wanted to take over your body."
I scoffed. "Yeah, but that was before The Sisterhood of the Damned was destroyed. I think that ship has sailed." I watched the scenery pass as the sky darkened, sending shoots of orange, red, and yellow across the blue sky. "But I wonder if he has another advocate." I looked toward Dakota, and my eyes met his. "I wonder if Jasmine is his advocate this time."
