"We need to call Auria," I said, my voice low as we waited for the Wendigo to turn back into Millie. "She will know what to do."
Michelle nodded, crying softly. "But if we need to kill her, then I'm doing it."
My head snapped up. "What? No one is killing anyone."
Her eyes met mine, her cheeks stained with tears. "That... thing... is no longer my sister! And I will not let her live like that!"
"But you're not killing her, either!" Lucas said, his eyes glowing bright blue.
"Both of you, calm down." I stood between them, holding my arms up. "We're not going to kill Millie. Don't worry." I looked over at Lucas and he nodded once. "But we're not going to let her remain a Wendigo, either." I looked over at Michelle and she nodded, too. "Michelle, our best bet is to wait until she turns back into Millie. Then we'll see if your blood will heal her."
Michelle nodded once.
