I texted Mark to see if he wanted to go with me to talk to Bash, and he said that he would meet me at the cabin. True to his word, he was waiting for me when I arrived.
"Well, it's about time someone got here to relieve us!" Austin said when Mark and I headed down the stairs. "We've been here all night."
"Who was supposed to come to relieve you?" I didn't want to tell him that we just came to talk to Bash.
"Lucas and Brady," he replied. "But they still have yet to come."
I nodded, concerned. "I'll text them." I turned away and was about to text Lucas when Brady walked down the stairs. "Sorry. I overslept."
Eric rolled his eyes. "It's about time you got here! I'm starving!"
Bash scoffed from inside the room. "That makes two of us."
Mark ignored him. "Both of you go ahead. Jess and I will stay here with Brady until Lucas gets here."
"Thanks, man." Austin gave Mark's arm a manly squeeze. "First off, let's get a pizza!"
