"Wow!" Millie said, looking over the edge of the ravine into the river at the waterfall. "That looks steep."
It was the first time that we'd been there since Dakota had bought it for the pack. Our dream of having a Compound finally becoming a reality.
Michelle shook her head. "I don't think it's as steep here as it is upstream," Michelle said. "But why don't we find a way to get down there, jut in case? That way, it'll be safer than just jumping over the edge."
I nodded. "Everyone! There's probably a path to get down to the river from here. Let's see if we can find it." Then I turned to Millie. "Where's Lucas and Brady? Are they meeting us here?"
She nodded. "Yeah, they're on his way, but Lucas said it'd be a little while."
Just then, Tiara, Eric, and Austin pulled up in Eric's pickup truck.
"What are we doing?" Tiara asked, clearly intrigued as she walked over.
