"So, what would you like to do today?"
I rolled over in Dakota's arms as bright morning sunshine streamed in through the window. "Do you realize this is the first time I've woken up beside you?"
He chuckled. "Well, at your house, I had to make sure I left before your father woke and caught me there."
I laughed. "He knew you were there."
"Not at first." Dakota shook his head. "But after a while, old habits just died hard."
"So, to answer your question, I have no idea what I'd like to do today."
Dakota laughed.
"What about you?" I propped my arms on his chest under my chin, looking into his eyes.
He shrugged. "We could go swimming at the waterfall today."
"Ohh... that would be great!" I snuggled up closer to him. "So, would you like to go just the two of us? Or should we ask the pack to go?"
He shrugged. "I'd love to go just the two of us, but it's up to you."
