We spent the next hour pacing back and forth, watching as Michelle weakened the cabin. One thing was certain: There was no way that the cabin could withstand another beating like this one. That is, if it held tonight.
"Aahhheeehhh!!!" a female voice shouted from deep within the woods. "Oooowww!!! Stop! Please stop!"
"Dakota?" Micah shouted within the Pack Mind. "Did you hear that?"
"Mark! Something's happening in the forest close to us!" Dakota shouted, "We need you guys... now!"
"Are you sure that Jessica's little demon didn't get loose?" Raina asked, her voice smug.
"Raina, so help me—" I shouted.
"Can it, ladies!" Mark interjected. "Save the fight for whatever's out there! Dakota, Micah guard the cabin. Jessica, see what's out there."
"No!" Dakota growled. "She's not going alone."
"I'll be fine!" I interjected, already headed for the woods. "Stay here and don't let anything happen to Michelle! If they come for her, Micah won't be able to hold them off alone."
