"Where am I?" asked Mark when the faint rays of morning sunshine peered through the windows.
Between keeping an eye on Mark, waiting with Crystal, and the confrontation with Skye, we were exhausted.
"We're at Carl White's house," Crystal replied, "in the Werewolf Room. How do you feel?"
"Like a truck ran over me." He chuckled. "Other than that, I feel like myself again."
Crystal ran into the room and threw her arms around him. "I was so worried!"
"But he may not be out of the woods yet," I replied, standing in the doorway.
A crease formed between Crystal's eyes. "What do you mean? He looks fine."
I nodded. "That may be so, but it's not the full moon anymore either. He may change again during the next full moon. We're not sure if this thing really is a Wendigo or not."
Raina sighed, exhausted. "Well, I was just researching the Wendigo on my phone and, supposedly, it's an evil spirit that takes over a human and craves flesh."
