"Mark? Are you okay?" Crystal asked, stepping between me and Mark.
Mark let out a low, guttural growl.
"Crystal, we've got to get him in the Werewolf Room before he hurts someone," I replied, motioning for Raina when she ran up from the woods.
"We didn't see anything. The guys are on their way back. What's up?" Raina asked, heading over. She took one look at Mark when she got close and stepped back. "Don't tell me that thing bit him."
I shrugged. "Okay, I won't tell you. But do you still have access to your Uncle Carl's house? I think we're going to need the Werewolf Room."
She nodded. "Yes, of course. Since I was his only heir, I thought we could use his house for the pack."
"Well, I think we may need to use it now," I replied.
Crystal nodded once. "I'll transport him and will meet you there."
"Crystal, be careful," I said, "he may bite--"
