"Are you alright?" Skye and Millie had just arrived on the crime scene. "Lucas told us what happened, and we came as soon as we could."
I nodded. "Yes, we're fine. But I found a body in the woods, and Dylan burned it before we could collect evidence." I shook my head in disbelief.
Just then, Mark walked up along with Dakota.
Skye's mouth fell open. "You're kidding."
I shook my head. "Nope. We want to see if you know anything about who may have done this."
A crease formed between is eyes, thinking carefully. "Not that I can think of. What did it look like?"
"It looked like a huge dog or a black wolf with bright red eyes," I replied, letting out a deep breath. "The only thing was that it fed on the body."
Skye's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "Seriously?"
I nodded. "Either it was cannibalistic, or it was the Rogue Wolves, doing it to cover up the killing and lead us off track."
