When we got back to Dakota's house, Michelle and Millie had already settled in, and Noah was helping Raina bring her things in, too.
"You know, it's going to seem strange having so many people around," I said to Dakota when we walked in. "It was weird enough when my mother came back after it being just my father and me for so long, let alone being in a house filled with people."
Dakota shrugged. "You'll get used to it. Besides, this is the way it will be once we have the Compound."
I nodded. "Have you talked to Micah about getting the land yet?"
"No, not yet." Dakota sighed. "Why don't you go upstairs and settle in and I'll talk to him. We need to buy the property as soon as we can."
My lips curled into a smile as I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Okay. Let me know what you find out."
"I will," he replied giving me a sexy smile without even trying.
