"So, what would you like to do now?" Dakota asked at the car dealership, walking me out to my new SUV with his arm around my waist.
"If you don't mind, I'd like to go over to Raina's house and make sure she's okay." I tilted my head to the side. "Would you like to go, too?"
Dakota shook his head. "No, thanks. I'll go home and say hi to Noah before he goes to work, while you're over at Raina's."
I nodded, thinking of something. "Come over tonight and I'll cook you dinner." I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I'll also have a key made for you to the house while I'm out."
He nodded, smiling against my lips. "Sounds good." Then h pressed his lips to mine, giving me a sweet kiss. "I'll see you tonight, then."
"By the way, what's your favorite meal?" I asked feeling like a heel for not knowing.
He shrugged. "I like everything. Surprise me."
I nodded, giving him another kiss. "Thanks for the car. I truly appreciate it."
