The wind rushed past as I moved without moving through the Space Time Continuum. It stopped a moment later, and I was outside the cabin. Julien and Dakota were organizing forces, preparing to attack.
"My god, Jessica! You're here!" Dakota ran toward me and pulled me into his arms, holding me so tightly I thought I would break. But in my mind, he couldn't hold me tight enough. I was safe in Dakota's arms and that was all that mattered. "What happened? Where were you?"
I proceeded to tell him everything that had happened when Raina came up carrying a robe.
"Here. Put this on," she said, shoving it in my hand. "Your father's coming."
It hadn't dawn on me that I was naked. Surviving had been more important.
"Thanks," I replied, and then quickly slipped it on.
Raina nodded and then headed off to help the others.
