"Julien," I said as Dakota and I approached. "You're here."
Julien smirked as he got to his feet and offered me his hand. "We thought that we should come now to get used to the terrain and to plan before the attack." He pulled up two chairs from another table. The couple sitting there gave him a dirty look, but he ignored it and pulled the chairs over to his table. "Here. Sit down. We'll talk over dinner."
I nodded, shaking his hand. "We're having a pack meeting tonight at six o'clock. Usually, we meet only on Mondays. But with everything that's going on, we're meeting on Thursdays, as well."
"Good," Julien motioned toward the waitress. Luckily, Candy was still at school.
"Hello, Lacey," I said, and she pulled me in for a hug and then shook Dakota's hand.
"It's good to see you again," Lacey said, taking her seat again.
I looked around the table and they only had drinks. "When did you get here?"
