Over the course of the next month, we didn't hear anything more from Cathy or Crystal. I wondered if she had skipped town or if she was still here, but I knew better not to become too complacent. They were still out there, I was sure.
Soon, the full moon was upon us again. Since it was January, the snow was still heavy on the ground. In Colorado, the snow doesn't let up until late April.
"So, I thought we could meet at the cabin early tonight to get both pits set up along with the tranquilizer guns," I said to everyone at lunch the Friday of the first full moon. Luckily, the full moon had fallen over a weekend this time. We had all missed more school than we should and couldn't afford to miss any more.
"Whatever." Raina sighed as she picked up her tray and walked out. Since I had become the Alpha, she had been acting weirder than usual. I knew I should talk to her, but I wanted to give her time to adjust first.
