As soon as I was ready, I packed some clothes and left a note for my dad on the kitchen table. Since the full moon was tonight and he was the chief detective on the case, he was probably already out getting everything ready.
I drove out to the cabin and Mark was there, along with several other members of the pack, but Dakota's truck wasn't there. I wondered if he was already waiting for me at the waterfall.
I took out my phone and texted him to let him know I was at the cabin, setting things up. We could go to the waterfall later before the full moon.
I got out of my car and headed over to Mark, shoving my hands in my jacket pockets. "What can I do?"
Mark shrugged. "I think we have everything under control. Your father came by with the tranquilizer guns, but you can check on The Pit, if you like."
I looked around. "Where's my father now?"
