Austin and Eric waited outside the school on the last day before Christmas Break and pelted us with snowballs as soon as we walked out.
I set down my backpack, scooped up some snow, and threw a snowball at them.
It was on.
An all-out snowball fight ensued before we all headed off to our homes for the holiday. But as for the pack, it wasn't as simple as that. The first night of the full moon was that night. But luckily, no one saw anything more while on their patrols.
And to my relief, Dakota hadn't brought up becoming engaged or pledged again either. It wasn't that I didn't want to get serious. Far from it. But between the werewolves, the approaching full moon, Christmas, and my mother not being here, not to mention Cathy, we had our hands full.
