"What was that all about?" Dakota asked after Cathy walked away.
I shook my head. "I'm not sure, but I think she suspects that we're on to her."
Michelle picked up her purse and started to get up. "Maybe we should go."
"No." I let out a deep breath. "We can't let her scare us."
Dylan scoffed. "Who said anything about being scared?"
"No, Jessica's right," Dakota interjected. "If we leave now, it'll make us look like we let her get to us—"
"Or that we have something to hide," Micah interjected. "No, the best thing to do is to stay here."
Michelle nodded as she set her purse back down and took her seat.
"Besides," Tiara said, "when was the last time we all got together to eat?"
Everyone laughed.
"In the cafeteria at lunch... every day," Raina replied, rolling her eyes.
Tiara scoffed. "I know that. What I meant was, besides lunch, we don't get out together as much at night."
