It was nearing Christmas, but the full moon was coming, too, and we had to plan. And despite the impending holiday, there was still at least one werewolf to contend with… that we knew of. As I got ready for the day, I made a mental note to speak with everyone at lunch.
The next morning, Dakota's truck was setting in my driveway and he was leaning against it, waiting for me. After slipping into my coat and grabbing my backpack, I hurried down the stairs, not bothering with breakfast. Then I headed outside, in a hurry to see Dakota again, even though he was the last person I had seen before going to sleep.
"Good morning, beautiful." Dakota held the door open for me, giving me his sexy smile. He slid into the driver's seat a moment later and then leaned over to give me a chaste kiss. "Sleep well?" He smirked.
I knew the way he said it, something must have happened. "Okay. What is it?"
