When Dakota pulled up in my driveway, he turned off the motor and then placed his hand on my cheek. Then his lips descended upon mine as passion filled us both, giving me one last kiss goodnight.
All of a sudden, the front porch light came on.
I laughed against his lips. "Well, I guess that's my father's not-so-subtle hint at telling me to come in."
"And to stop necking with your boyfriend in the driveway." Dakota smiled.
"Necking?" I laughed. "That term is ancient. No one says that anymore."
He shrugged. "I keep telling you that I'm an old man, but you won't believe me."
"Yeah, right." I kissed him once more. "Now, we say 'making out'."
Dakota laughed. "I'll try to remember that." He gave me one last kiss and then breathed against my lips, "Wait here." He disappeared out of the car, and then reappeared by my door a moment later and opened it for me.
"I'll never tire of this." I took his hand and let him help me from the car.
