Present Day....
Monday morning after the bonfire, I rose from the bed and got dressed for school. We had been having fun, thinking that our brush with werewolves was over, when there was another scream in the woods. We had all dispersed to try and find out what happened, but the only thing we found was a dead body. A man who had been torn apart.
I didn't get a good look.
Upon finding the body, my father had told me to go inside, that he and Mark would take care of it. When I refused, he had turned to Dakota and told him to take me in. In fact, he had told everyone to go on home and they were going to call the police.
So much for our bonfire. But then again, having a bonfire was the least of our worries when we found the dead body.
After dressing in a skirt and white dress shirt, I donned my leather coat to make it look good to the humans, even though I didn't need it. Shifters rarely got cold.
