'Who do those two think they are? Making this decision on their own...'
'This afternoon? This man who is supposed to be betrothed to me will be arriving later today?'
She could not understand, no, she just does not want to.
With every step she takes, she can feel her blood beginning to boil. This is all going too fast. It isn't her fault she hasn't met her fated partner yet.
It might not even matter to her parents if she meets her mate now. They already promised her off to some male from another pack. She has known they planned on uniting the packs through her brothers if they didn't find their mates.
'To think they planned this without my knowledge.' She snarled at the thought.
In a split second as she jumps into the air, the sound of crackling and bustling emitting from her body. Her fit figure re-configuring itself, bones breaking and resetting themselves until her whole body is covered in a jet black coat. A small white spot on her forehead.
Angelica's wolf form is twice as large as any regular Were's. Normally not even females born from an Alpha don't grow this big in wolf form. Her size equal to her own fathers.
After taking a few minutes to admire her smooth transition, she tapped the pads of her paws against the ground beneath her. Then off she goes, running as fast as she can. The air going through her luscious fur.
Stretching out her muscles and going against the wind. It set so much ease in her mind, brushing everything away. Setting her free.
Angelica ran for another half hour before slowing down, making her way over to a small stream nearby.
As she approached for a drink, she saw her reflection. A low growl leaving her body before clawing at the water, causing her reflection to distort as the water ripples.
"Calm yourself child. It is not your fault. We'll figure this out." Lilith spoke up from that place in the back of Angelicas mind. "It shouldn't matter to our mate anyways, but now that you've calmed down we must come up with a plan."
Lilith has always been this way. Always the calm and collected one. Even on that wretched day. She truly is the backbone to this operation. Then again, what happened earlier was an exception. Never mess with a wolfs mate.
They laid down next to a large oak tree and start getting down to business. Thinking of whatever they could do to prevent this whole thing from happening.
****** Back in the pack house ******
"Adrien! What the hell were you thinking?! Telling her right now! What did you expect her to do?" Jasper growls before sighing exasperatedly. His arms crossed over his chest while glaring down on his son. Clearly Adrien isn't the brightest crayon in the box.
With a small grumble, Adrien begins to frown while looking up at his father. Still on the ground but with his legs crossed. "Get rid of her already, she doesn't matter anymore. I am stronger than she is! I will become Alpha!" His voice growing louder as he slams his fist into the floor.
This is the way it has always been. Growing up believing males are superior can really get to their heads. He stopped caring that Angelina is his sister when he witnessed her at her weakest hour a few years back. He despises her.
Ester was silently listening to things go on but now she is quickly growing annoyed. "Get that head of yours out of your fucking ass!" The woman yelled, pivoting her body to give her kick more momentum. Her foot hitting it's target with great accuracy, her sons fat head.
Werewolves are far sturdier than humans so this isn't as bad as one would think. Besides, this is the only way to get these knottheads to listen.
As expected, Adrien is completely dumbstruck as he looked up at his mother in utter shock. "Mother! Why...why would you do this to me?!" He asked as he looked up at her, his hand on his cheek.
"You ask me why? You try ordering your father to kill your own sister and you ask me WHY? You may despise her but she is my child. My first child and my only daughter. If you think you can just kill her because you don't like her, then you have another thing coming." Ester said in a smooth, calm tone. A slight grin tugging at her lips.
As this whole thing happened, Jasper stepped back and let it happen. Not even he dared mess with his mate, Adrien is the only one of their children who never seemed to learn that getting on his mothers bad side is a terrible idea.
"Not to mention, she already had you flat on your ass, Adrien. You are not stronger than she." He added in sternly before taking hold of his mates hand. Pulling Ester back to his side.
It was then that Adrien looked to the ground. His fists clenching tightly before sighing. "Fine, I understand....but this was not my fault. You both are the ones courting her off!" He stood up quickly and stomped off. This is an outrage!
Once he stopped off, the two were shrouded in silence. Ester turned to her mate with a frown. "Our son is right, you know. I told you. I TOLD you that we should not do this. If she makes the choice to be with somebody who is not her fated partner it should be her decision. You are accountable." She sighed, her index finger and thumb pinching the bridge of her nose.
"Don't worry...I know." The Alpha spoke softly before leading her out of the foyer and down the hall.

The hours drag on and finally Angelica arrives back home. Her body rigid as she dressed herself in some shorts and a T-shirt they have set out in the tree line.
Normally lunchtime on a Saturday is the most amazing part of the day, but today it isn't. They just had to ruin a perfectly good Saturday, some damn suitor. Hell's going to freeze over before she would ever become someone's mate who isn't her fated one.
"It's about time you got back, I heard there was a commotion earlier. You alright?" A boy asked, sitting on the porch. His body has a decent build to it. Although he was definitely still kind of young.
A soft smile came to her face, easing her tense body. "Abe. At least one of my baby brothers love me!" She joked, walking up and giving him a hug. Her other brothers were alright and nice, very respectful to her because technically she is the oldest among the siblings. It is mainly Adrien who likes being a major asshat.
He didn't mind too much, this is his sister after all. Sure he's only fifteen but what does that matter in this hidden world? "Fair warning, there's some guy in with our parents. I don't know who he is or why he's here, they just told me to let you know. 'In person' because apparently linking you would be too much trouble." He shrugged.
Angelicas gaze moved to the door she is about to walk through. That man is already here then. After thanking Abe for the heads up, she took a deep breath and stepped into the house.
It took her a few minutes to work up the courage to open the office door. There she found her two parents with a man who was sitting across from the large oak desk.
With quiet steps Angelica took each step with pride, stopping next to the man and in front of her parents. Not a word leaving her mouth, not yet at least.
This man is insane! His body is huge, at least 6'7" and his muscles are well worked. His hair a light brown and his chestnut coloured eyes widen in an instant once his sights set upon her.
Angelica is about to introduce herself when she sees his smile drop and a frown crease his face. She planned on playing nice with this guy but seeing his reaction ticked her off a little.
"I am Damon Stellar of the Blue Moon pack! You dare give me such a joke?! You fools left out the part about her being hideous! One look at her and anybody could tell! Her face is destroyed! It's is disgusting!" This man, Damon yelled.
This was definitely a shock, nobody ever mentioned her appearance in her presence. Everybody knows that her face has four large scars slashed diagonally. It is her life long reminder of what happened to her so long ago. Something she wishes to forget but knows she never will.
Angelica balled her hands up into fists. "You better watch your tongue..." She snarled lowly, her body trembling with boiling anger.
The Alpha to be of the Blue Moon pack shot daggers at Angelica, he is beyond furious. "Silence female! You...you are a disgrace. To think that you people promised me such an ugly female! She is disgusting! Clearly she is weak to have gotten such a scar, she should have been dead a long time ago." He scoffed, boring holes through her body with his glare. How did they expect him to mate with a woman baring such an atrocious face?
