This is the day when Luck's life really started to change. On his fifteenth birthday, he decided to go on to see the world.
For two years he was hunted by the same dream. He dreamed of a big field of blue flowers, surrounded by heals and mountains. There, in the middle of that field was standing a girl, a pale lady whit a golden hair and sparkling blue eyes. As he stood there gazing upon the girl she was turning around, asking the boy differently questions every time, every dream was the same until the point where the girl started talking. The boy stood there, unable to answer the girl's questions, as she was staring in the horizon.
That was the point when Luck made the decision to explore the world, hoping to find the place that he remembered so vividly as if he was there before. He hoped that when he will find that place he could see the girl, he hoped that he will finally be able to answer all her questions.
"Good morning mama, good morning papa."
"Oh, good morning to you too Luck!" His mother said whit a person smile, a calm and sweet voice as the boy was passing by.
"Oh, Luck, happy birthday my child." Lord Marcus said to his son.
"Well thank you, papa." Luck said, smiling as he passed through the garden, but his smile was not his pleasant smile, his smile was filled whit disappointment, as he knew he will leave the mansion the next day. He didn't have the courage to tell his family that he was leaving yet and he was concerned that how his parents will react when he finally tells them.
The whole day he stood in the garden admiring the roses while reading. His face would often turn around, glancing outside the gates of his mansion, as he was expecting something to happen. The roses war casting a small shadow on his small body, and the sunlight was fading on his bright red hair as he stood there, reading and preparing for his trip. He's once aggressive smile now turned into an emotionless expression as the sunset approached.
"Master Luck, the dinner is ready and your father insisted for you to come to join them"
"Shure!" He said knowing that this is the last chance he had to tell them about his decision.
At the table, the entire family was waiting for the young master to come.
"Happy Birthday Luck." They all said as the boy entered the room.
"Thank you so much, everyone. I am so happy to be greeted by all of you!" He said as he took a sit.
At the dinner, Luck couldn't bring up the decision that he makes. He stood there, just thinking how could he bring that up. his fake smile was sticking out as they were all cheating at the table.
"Marie, would you bring the cake, please?"
"Of course my Lord."
"So, Luck. What did you think to do after your birthday ends" Lord Marcus asked, seeing as his son was troubled by something? "You will be an adult after this day after all."
Luck smiled, whit a glitter in his eyes. "Well papa, I was planning to go and explore the world. I want to see all the beauty that these lands have to offer." He said whit an even brighter smile than before.
As the cake comes Lady Ellen started crying and as her tears tucked away, dropping on to the floor, she raised heir her and said whit a strong crying voice: " My little boy is becoming a man, he wants to go out, leave his home, in search of who knows what"
"Well, my boy, I see that you made up your mind. So be it! Tomorrow, before you leave, come to my room, I will give you your last gift. Cause who knows when will we meet again, or even if we would be around anymore when you get back home"
After dinner, the boy got straight to bed. As he got his parent's blessings to go he was ready for the next day to come.
When the sun finally raised the boy did as instructed, he got to his father's room. His father was standing their whit a set of clothing, an old sword that looked as if it was never used, a shiny sword whit a golden handle, and a red Juul at the end of it.
"Luck my boy this is my last gift for you. Those are your grandpa's things. He gave them to me when I was a little boy like you, and now I give them to you. I never got to use them, but I hope they will help you with your journey. I have here a bag of gold coins for you as well, enough to keep you feed for about a week or two. After that, I just hope you the best of luck"
"Thank you very much, papa! I hope to see you again soon." The boy said and then left.
At the gate, his mother and the two brothers war waiting to see the young man off. They said their goodbyes when Marie comes yelling.
"Master Luck, master Luck, wait, please wait!"
"Yes, Marie? Did you come to say goodbye to?" Luck said.
"Yes, master, and I packed you a meal cause you didn't staid to eat whit us this morning!" She smiled.
Now the boy was on his way.
This is where the true adventure begins.
