Father sat at the head of the grand wooden table surrounded by his advisors while I stood in front of them. The air is thick with tension as the advisors argue over the latest reports.
"I have been notified, that the rogues are now moving west of north. How are we doing with the refugees?"
"We have the refugees safe at the pack house, my King. And I have arranged to find potential epsilons with Gamma Eurit."
He nodded, "Alright, how many fallen soldiers we have?"
"About a battalion, now." He caressed his forehead and sighed.
"And what of their families?"
"We are already arranging their funerals, my king. The families will be heavily compensated."
The statement from one of his advisors did not erase the wrinkle on his forehead.
"How come we've lost a lot already? We need to produce more knights if these problems keep arising. Call the alphas and betas in the whole kingdom, we will have an emergency meeting!"
