Aya's POV
When I opened my eyes,I was looking over the majestic mountains of my home country. I felt like I had come so far, and learned to much.. What the mind remembers and learns, the heart remembers and knows.
I had come home to stay.
As I looked long and hard at my surroundings, I could feel the wind trying to tear at the braids in my hair. "Enikil, would you please set my hair free of the style you put it in?" in a second it was done and my hair whipped back behind me. The fresh scent of the trees and the moist earth filled my senses and I felt almost reborn. "Is it just me, or have those.." I lifted my hand and pointed at some lower levels of the mountains, "..slopes, actually gotten smaller?"
Moving my hair to the side of him, Enikil wrapped his arms around my waist from the back and rested his chin on my shoulder. "It sure looks like it, yes." his breath was warm against my neck and it warmed me as his body did.
