Aya's POV
As I stood at the balcony, I heard the squeal of the lock on the door. When the heavy door opened, I breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of Enikil, though he was covered in blood.
Moving toward him, he met me halfway and caught me up in his arms, his face buried in my hair, "I need to get you out of here, Aya. They were just going to let you burn in here, I couldn't have that."
Pulling back slightly, I looked up into his face. "Is that why you're covered in blood?" at his nod, I felt a chill run through me.
When he felt the tremor in my body, Enikil pulled my body closer to his and looked past my shoulder to the fire beyond the balcony, where it seemed like the whole panoramic view of the city was in flames. "Enikil, we have to get to Diamon and Orrin. To see if we can help them before the fire reaches their district." moving to my side, he kept his arm around mt waist as he walked me back into the throne room. I will never forget the sight that met my eyes.
