We got ready to leave the next morning. Enikil was securing the horses when Shingin came by to see us off. He took me by the hand, and lifted my arm up, smiling as he inspected my new armor that had been made for me during the night on his order. I basically just wore the pieces that coveted my torso and upper thighs. The other pieces were kept close in my saddle bag. "You look amazing in the armor Aya.. I truly figured that it might detract from your beauty, but I was wrong. You're even more lovely."I blushed brightly and Enikil saw it over the saddles, chuckling to himself.
Dropping my arm I confessed, "Thank you, Shingen. It feels a bit strange to go around without my cloak on and just have these white silk sleeves showing.
But, I also admit that it is truly more comfortable. You men have had it easy!" I joked with him before things got uncomfortable.
