Aya's POV
The dinner was delicious according to the guests and residents. As usual, I had just pushed my food around a bit. Enikil did not come.
As I stood up, I bowed to Shingen who saw me from over a woman's shoulder. Smiling broadly, he excused himself and followed me out of the house down toward the training yard. We both sensed the eyes of a few people on our backs but we didn't care. "You don't have to go through with this Aya. You don't have to prove to me who you say you are." picking up my step, I crossed the training yard and moved around the well kept stables.
"There is doubt in you, I can sense it. The sooner this is done, the better." I explained to him as I sighed. I'd had to do this too often lately and it was starting to bother me.
The open field behind us looked like silver rolling in waves created by the wind. Silver, due to the full moon that made it easier for him to see. I could see everything perfectly.
