Devin contemplated on the concept of marriage.
The Sacrament of Marriage is a lasting commitment of a man and a woman to a lifelong partnership, established for the good of each other and the procreation of their children. Marriage is different to most of the Sacraments which are conferred by a priest, or bishop.
Now that Devin has realized his deep and eternal love for Angeal, he wanted to have her all throughout his life. Soon after, he knew that after all these struggles, he will certainly make it clear to Angeal that he wanted to spend their lives together.
