When Arlo read the message of Angeal, his heart couldn't help but race in his chest, somehow making it difficult to breathe.
He even read it a few more times, feeling nervous if he should really see them downstairs after everything.
"Come in the kitchen. There's going to be soup for us to eat and we want to talk to you before you go."
He read the message, again and again, making it easy for Arlo to memorize that single text! He even gulped, wondering why Angeal was the one who sent it when Arvid and Frey could.
He knows that he has done more damage to the poor girl's heart. Heck, he now suddenly thinks that Arvid and Frey couldn't send him that message, too, because he hurt their best friend!
With them also helping him despite everything, it made Arlo feel guilty, making him think that he doesn't deserve to show himself to them because that would mean that he is thick-faced!
