After my battle, I am thoroughly exhausted, each, and every movement hurt and was painful. As the battles for the day concluded, he brought me to the hospital for frost burn and severe cuts. The process only took an hour.
"You were too careless in that match, Ezequiel. You forgot all the treasures you had from the inheritance." Clara scolded me.
"You have disappeared for months and you come back and scold me like an old hag. You have some guts. I missed you Clara, please don't leave me alone again." I mumbled.
"It takes time and energy to reform a soul and you use a lot of it reforming your own during the time Kora kills you." She scoffed.
"Haha," I laugh loudly as she finishes scolding me.
For hours, I sat and talked to Clara and she told me of the first war-tears of the old legends and weapons so powerful that even the Gods feared fighting them. The day came to a close, and the advisers said those that passed should be ready by noon tomorrow to leave for Blood university.
Night passed quickly and uneventfully as hours ticked by until the morning sun finally creeped over the rooftops and covered my face in a light glow.

As the soon-to-be students are loaded onto the magic ship that will travel through the boundless sea and the gray skies. Before we set out, everyone was called on deck and we were told.
"Along the journey, we will pass through many monster territories such as Harpies, Rusalkia's, and selkies. Females will be fine but males these races require males with high magic to breed the next generation. We will not be responsible for your protection. If you get caught, you might as well kill yourself."
After the brief lecture, everyone was assigned a room and was given free rein of the ship, as I walked out to the bow with the sun hanging high over our heads. Staring out into the sky, I see the ocean waves break across the seas below.
"You can come out now. I know you have been watching me since the tournament in Maldira's place, Zenith. I applaud your ability to blend in," Speaking softly as not to alert others, I say into the wind.
"You have gotten better at perceiving people off of your other senses Ezequiel, but Maldira says I'm in charge because I became a fallen before you. So you can call me big brother zen from now on." Zenith says confidently.
A sudden yell yanks us from our conversation as black dots quickly approach our flanks ranging in high numbers of 50-60 on each side. "Harpies, quick arm yourselves and seek cover quickly."
The shouts came too late as the harpies swept across the sky and grabbed at all the men on deck, 1,2,3,4,5,6 of the 30 men aboard, each man crying as the claws. I grab the nearest spear and throw it at the guy that was taken.
As the spear leaves my hand, a pair of claws grabs my shoulders, but before I leave the ground, the Harpy turns into an ice statue. A girl in a set of pale Azura set of robes and a jeweled wand in her hand as she scoffs and throws me below deck
"No one can kill you before me, got it?" She smiles and continues to slay harpies.
"Do I know you?" I ask.
