AT HOME...
Nick's POV.
I stared out of my room's window, negative thoughts clouded my brain. It's been 15 days since my sister and brother went missing alongside other kids in society. I couldn't meet dad's gaze , after he slapped me knowing that I didn't notice my sister follow me. More than twenty kids were missing from different areas in our city. They also kidnapped human kids. God knows what will happen to them.
Dad and uncles have been busy tracking all the groups, and they came out with the conclusion that they have been kidnapped by the supernatural Hunters. These Hunter's group consist of humans who are well trained to fight with supernatural beings, they upgraded their weapons, they become more trained and skilled. They were after us all since ancient times. As technology advanced with time, they started experimenting our genes into their soldiers, and became more powerful. That took us off guard when we found out that many of the wolves they experimented lost their wolf side or they died. Their special groups are hiding and are as much as powerful as all of us.
I still couldn't find out the reason why my dad refused an offer from the "WHITE FANG" pack and above all he got angry at Jason when he heard that he's from this pack. Even my both uncles got angry once they heard the name of the pack. Something is definitely going on between all of them.
I was shrugged out of thoughts, when Jack moved my shoulder and pointed his finger towards my phone, which was ringing for minutes and I didn't notice. It was an unknown caller, I received the call while putting my phone on speaker mode.
The caller asked me to tell dad it's urgent, I gave my phone to Jack and he sprinted downstairs to dad's study room. Who could that be? I looked outside the window and found Jason waving his hand at me from the treeline of the forest, I jumped out of the window and jogged towards him.
"We found a lead on missing kids, they might be in some underground area, up here they are nowhere, we can't trace their scents, they are completely gone, like they vanished into thin air" Jason said in one breath.
"Yeah we might hurry before it's too late" I shrugged the negative off of my mind.
"Nick, dad wants you to come home, he found a lead, and we should leave right now," Jackson shouted from the terrace.
"We'll be behind you, don't worry we might have the same informer, we'll find them" Jason said and ran back towards his pack.
Dad was already in car with uncle Josh and Jackson, I hopped in and the car started nearly flying on the road. Dad elaborated the details about the lead, it was the part of forest where no one might even think about going, it was borderline of barrier that kept us and humans save from blood suckers. As of hunters they were very skilled in killing supernatural beings. Definitely they would have chosen a place like this, so no one might suspect them.
In ten minutes the road in the forest ended, we started running towards the location while being cautious. Jason was already there with his dad and others. I checked my dad and uncle's reaction. Their faces turned blood red as their eyes met with Jason's dad. As for him , he was perfectly calm, without any emotions shown on his face.
He had many similar features to my dad or I might be mistaken.
"What's Alpha Peter doing here?" Dad glared at me.
"How should I know?" I gave a questioning look.
"His son Jason might be your friend," uncle Josh continued.
"I told you to stay away from that boy, but you never listened" dad growled.
"Go easy on him John they are kids don't involve them in our fight" Uncle tapped my shoulder and smiled.
Like I thought something was going on between them, my dad and uncle.
We walked towards them, Jason smiled as he saw me, I smiled back without noticing my dad's reaction.
"Alpha Peter..." dad and uncle both said at once while clenching their fists.
"You must be Nikolas, Jason's friend" Alpha Peter smiled at me while completely ignoring my dad and uncle. I hardly hold back my laughter.
"Yes, that's me" I replied while keeping my eyes down.
"At least your son isn't the same as you Johnathan" Alpha Peter said glaring dad.
"I'm sure your dad and uncle haven't told their kids that I'm their elder brother, call me uncle Peter" he smiled at me.
"Wha...ttt..." words stuck in my throat. So that's why he had similar facial features like my dad and uncle.
"Yes, and I also know that my niece and nephew are missing, I guess our intel provider is the same, no coincidence we are at the same place" he taunted.
I looked at dad and uncle Josh. They both were on the verge of ripping uncle Peter into pieces. After all, the mystery was solved. I sighed.
"Mother and father miss you both, they miss their grandchildren and daughter in laws, you both should come back, I've already forgiven you both for the damage you caused me and pack on just one misunderstanding" uncle Peter said in a calmed tone.
"We haven't forgiven you, because of you our sister died and brother in law died, our children are not safe in that war zone, it's better to live between humans rather than staying in that hell hole" dad nearly growled.
" War zone... hell hole...Jocelyn and Zach didn't die because of me stop blaming me for that, it's been thirty years, well I won't brag on this, we should focus on finding your children and I'll help you as much as I can John, for once in your life listen to me for the sake of your children" he said slowly.
"Fine, but apart from that don't expect me to do anything for you, forget about trying to convince me to come back," dad agreed.
"Come out everyone" uncle Peter called out, five men jumped down on the ground from the redwood trees.
"Let's go in without wasting any more time" we all went downstairs which led to an underground passage.
Soon we reached a door, after trying for fifteen minutes it opened…
