Chapter 1 - The fight of memories

It was a stormy night in September when a pale woman pulled up to a mansion and saw her someone that looked to be her twin sister, sitting on her large oak wraparound porch looking nervous. The woman didn't have to ask to know what the other was thinking but she asked anyway to be polite.

"Hello, Aroura. What brings you to my place in the middle of this storm?" The pale lady asked as lightening flashed behind her magnifying the entensity of her pale skin.

"Alloria, you know why I am here. I want to fix this curse I caused you to live with!" The one called Aroura exclaimed as pitty shone in her eyes.

Alloria just shook her head "I've told you time and time again, it was my choice to live like this so it is not your fault nor your responsibility to fix this. So, stop already."

Aurora began pouting and followed her sister. "It is my fault. If I was stronger and didn't let that demon capture me, then you would still have your emotions."

Alloria sighed, "One, we was only twelve at that time and two, I chose to give them up in exchange for your life. Anyways, there is no use in arguing over whose fault it is. What's done is done and there is no way we could change the past so we must move on." she said as she turned her kitchen lights on. "Besides, I am a vampire. What use does emotions do me?" she asked as was her normal excuse not to care she no longer had emotions.

Aurora visited with her sister for three hours trying to convince her to allow her to try and reverse what they both secretly considered a curse before giving up for the time being and going home. Meanwhile, Alloria was lost in thought. She was remembering the day that everything changed for the first time in her life.
