I struggle to stand but my legs refuse to work. I swallow hard as the old man says "Give it a minute. It's always the worst in the very beginning." He shakes his head again before continuing "Never in my long life has anyone been able to do that. What are you, my dear?"
I lift a shaky hand and push my hair back as I mumble "I'm starting to wonder myself... I saw... I saw things. I saw the world and what it used to be... I saw the bombs that changed everything.." The old man blinks in surprise before quickly disappearing!
What!? I look around and scoff in disbelief as I struggle to stand again. Did he really just run away!? My legs wobble like a newborn calf before falling back down. What the hell!? When I hear something, I glance up to see the little old man running as fast as his little old legs could.
