When I see the sun slipping in through the window, I lift my arm and cover my eyes. I couldn't sleep at all last night. There were so many things happening it was becoming more and more difficult to keep track.
I groan before forcing myself to roll over and get up. Thane went back to keep watch over the Oasis so that I could rest but I really couldn't rest. The only thing I was able to do was, come up with theories. Theories that led to more theories and in the end, I found myself back at the very beginning.
I walk to the shower, strip, and step into the hot water with a shiver. I let the water wash over me as I try to figure out where to go at this point. Was I really going to act as their 'Queen'!? I cringe at the thought and lift my face.
