Li Shan opened her eyes weakly and saw herself in her tiny room in the maid quarters. What had happened to her? How did that butterfly turn into a ball of light? She looked at her left wrist and saw a pink tattoo of a butterfly on it. Gosh! What was this? If Cao Yue sees this, wouldn't that be a problem? What the heck was the use of this tattoo. Would it help her become pretty or something?
Li Shan had many thoughts going on in her head. Suddenly, the tattoo on her left wrist flashed with a blue light which made Li Shan gasp.
"What's happening now?" she thought. She felt a force that made her stand up and she levitated in mid-air frightening her.
"What the hell is this? Help"Li Shan wanted to scream but unfortunately, she couldn't talk. She began to sweat profusely. To say she was very afraid was an understatement. Right now she even wished for Cao Yue to come to help her. At least she's a cultivator and might help.
The blue light left her hand and became a large ball of light that entered into her right shoulder and formed the tattoo of a lotus on it then light surrounded her from top to bottom and she could feel a tingling sensation in her body and she smelt a nice fragrance.
"This feels nice," she thought no longer scared of what is happening because for some reason she felt that whatever was happening was not bad.
5 minutes later, the light dimmed and she landed on the floor slowly. When she looked at herself in the mirror she was stunned to the point of falling to the floor. Who was that looking back at her in the mirror? That couldn't be her, right? She summoned courage and rose up again and walked to the mirror and saw the same face and opened her mouth in shock. She touched her face in disbelief.
"This...is...really me? I..this is me?" she asked herself but it was the fact that she had changed totally from head to toe. She looked so beautiful and had a stunning figure that most made her drool. Her black hair had turned to red and was packed in two side ponytails and adorned with golden packers. She had a vermilion moon mark on her forehead. Her eyes were now big and clear blue. Her nose was smaller and her lips had become a thin red that even her wanted to kiss. Her skin was a very flawless white like milk. Two silver earrings adorned her earlobes. There was a nose ring on her nose, and a silver necklace adorned her neck. She's currently wearing a white robe embroidered with rich silver thread. Her feet were bare of any shoes and her toenails and fingernails were painted in shiny silver and then there were...wait wings?
Her eyes became as big as saucers when she saw them. Did they just appear? She touched them to make sure she wasn't dreaming and they felt real. Does this mean that she's a fairy now? Gosh, she's so happy. If she were to appear before cultivators and sects, many would kill to get her. Who wouldn't want a fairy? Even the emperor would love to have one. Those pretty ladies who were praised and called fairies were nothing like the current her now. She was the real deal-a fairy and she's one with butterfly wings and her beauty and body was enough to make rulers and kingdoms fall.
She liked this current self of hers but there was a problem. She couldn't just run outside like this. She had to find a way to change back first. Before she could think of a solution, she changed back to her old self again and the former clothes she was wearing before were now on her body. She smiled. So it was this easy to change back. She just had to think of it and it'll happen. Perfect!
She jumped up expecting to land back down but she didn't return to the floor but levitated in midair. Goodness! The powers remain even after she changed back which is great for her. She needs time to slowly figure out her powers apart from the ability to fly. From now on she needs to be careful and not jump in public or she'll be fish for stew.
"Li Shan, open up you brat. I know you must be awake. You pretended to faint so I could do the work while you rest huh? Don't you have a conscience? Open up or I'll kick this door down" an irked Cao Yue yelled outside the door.
"Cao Yue, I'm naked. Don't kick the door down. I may not be pretty but at least I have a right to privacy" Li Shan yelled back.
"You brat, you dare call my name and yell back at me? You're dead meat" barked Cao Yue.
"Cao Yue, I'm already a lump of rotten meat. Why bother this meat that only flies like to visit. I must disgust you. My body isn't that great and I don't wanna spoil your holy eyes" Li Shan said with a smile.
"You brat, you think I'll not dare to break down this door?"Cao Yue snapped.
"You can but whatever you see don't go crying to the third prince later," Li Shan said before lying down on her bed and covering herself with a thin blanket.
"You, I'll teach you a lesson when you're out" Cao Yue yelled before leaving after flicking her sleeves.
"I'll be out in two hours. Gosh! I need to rest."Li Shan said before closing her eyes to visit La-la land.
