Mia and the others arrived safely back in the demon village. Morain greeted them as they landed. "I see you got Peter back all safe and sound." She said. "That was a brilliant plan you had earlier Mia. Flexing your power like that is sure to give them pause if they think about attacking us again."
"That is basically what they told me." Mia said. "I went and talked to them after the battle. They thought I was the Goddess, which I never said I was. I just didn't say I wasn't."
"Very shrewd." Morain replied. "Those men of the church, at least the lower ranked ones, honestly believe that they serve the Goddess. Much like you once did when you were still their pawn. I am sure since they believe themselves to have talked to the Goddess, they will not attack again."
