Slowly Michael could feel his senses returning to his body. He could feel the breeze on his face, he could hear the birds chirping in the distance. He slowly opened his eyes, everything was blurry at first, but slowly came into focus. He could see the blue sky above him and the tall grass on either side of him. His body was sore, and it hurt to move. He had a hard time trying to figure out what quite felt different. His body felt lighter, but his chest felt heavy, like something was laying on top of him. He thought maybe it was where his ribs were broken in the battle with Vanessa. "I guess I didn't die." He spoke aloud, relieved that he was still alive. His voice was not his voice however and it startled him quite a bit. "What was that? What's wrong with my voice?" He kept talking aloud trying to figure out what he was hearing. He knew he was the one talking but it was a woman's voice. Fear overtook him and he grabbed for this "sword." His sword was not there, he had lost it. He decided to then check his chest to see if the weight on his chest was what he feared it to be. He felt his chest and immediately knew he had breasts. His body was that of a woman's now.
Upon his chest he found a note pinned to his shirt. His armor had been removed and he was wearing a village girls dress. He grabbed the note and read it. "Sir Knight, if you are reading this note, that means you lived! Good Job! For calling me a man I have decided to make you a woman. Enjoy your new life! P.S. Please do not just randomly attack people anymore! That was rude and someone could have gotten hurt! P.P.S I had fun with you and hope you visit again soon. -Love Demon Lord Vanessa"
Having read her note he could not help but to chuckle. "At least she didn't kill me." He decided it was time to try and get up. He did not hurt anymore so he guessed that Vanessa must have used some sort of healing magic on him. He grunted and rolled over to his stomach, which felt completely different now that he had breasts. "Ouch!" Not being used to having breasts on his chest, he smashed them when he rolled over. "Damn these things are sensitive." He finally made his way back up to a standing position. His balance was off, he had a different center of gravity than he once had. He wobbled as he walked, trying to maintain some sense of balance. He did not know he was right outside of a village and that he was being watched this whole time by the people who were working the field.
What they saw was an attractive woman with long blonde hair and a fancy dress, who was apparently drunk off her rocker. They watched as she stumbled, she wobbled, and she fell. Finally, one of the workers decided he would help the fair maiden, hoping that his good deed would get him an award. After all, for everyone around, she appeared very drunk. "Miss are you alright?" The worker asked as he approached Michael.
It was now that Michael knew that he was the center of attention. Without even thinking he just blurted out a dire warning. "The demon lord is near! We have to get everyone to safety!"
The worker was puzzled. The demon forest was nowhere near their village. In fact, the forest was on the complete other side of the kingdom. It would take no more than two weeks if you traveled by carriage. "Mam, there's no demon lord here. You can relax." The man tried to calm Michael down. "We haven't had a demon in these parts for days. A little while after our hero went into the forest, all the demons from around the kingdom retreated back into the forest." The worker put his hand on Michael's shoulder to try and comfort her further. "I don't think there's anything to worry about with our great hero around."
Michael thought about what would be the best way to respond, would he tell them that he was the hero and that he was defeated by the demon lord, just to wake up right outside their village as a woman. Or would he tell a lie and try to gather more information. He realized the truth would be far too unbelievable and decided to tell a lie instead. "Truth is I don't know where I am. Last thing I remember is the world going dark and then waking up over there in that field."
The man looked at her and a stern look happened upon his face. "Miss, I think you were drugged and dropped off right in front of our village." He tried his best to look heroic, but he was just a simple worker. "I will make sure you stay safe! Could I at least get your name?"
"My name is Mi… Mia. Yes, my name is Mia." Michael said, deciding to fully embrace this lie.
"Ah miss Mia, do you remember what village you are from?" The worker asked.
"Sadly, I can't really remember anything, I'm sorry it's all just so fuzzy." Michael said while thinking there was no way in hell this guy would fall for that.
The worker's eyes began to tear up. "So, their horrible drugs induced amnesia as well! Don't worry, Miss Mia I will look after you." The worker then pulled out his coin purse and handed it to Michael. "I don't have much money, but I want you to take what I have and get yourself a room at the inn. You need to rest up after what was done to you. And don't you worry about repaying me. I am sure we can work something out later."
With that Michael, who was now Mia, took the coin purse. "Thank you!" She said to the worker. She wondered about the "work something out later" part but was happy to have some coins since Vanessa left her without any of her things. Finally getting a grasp on walking Mia made her way to the inn and the worker went back to his field.
Upon returning to the field another worker questioned him, "So was the hottie drunk. I didn't see you take advantage of the situation."
"She was drugged and dumped off like garbage, I felt bad for her. She even lost her memories." He responded.
"Damn Stu, you always try to play the hero, you got to learn to just man up and take what you want." The other worker chimed in.
"I think women respond better when you treat them nice, and not force yourself on them." Stu replied.
"Whatever man, I totally would have hit that. She was hot." Stu's friend continued. "If she comes back out here, I'm definitely going to show her what real man is like."
Back in town Mia was searching for the inn, the village was larger than she thought it was, so she was having a hard time locating it. That is when she saw her. Standing next to a flower shop, it was the woman from the forest, it was Vanessa.
