You packed your makeup bag as you gave a satisfied look to the mirror and walked out to your waiting friends.
You couldn't believe how you were feeling at the moment... A mixture of happiness and content. You felt angry at yourself. 'Liking the boys and being friends is NOT your plan Elena Wood' you thought as you walked towards the group.
"Yah! What's wrong with you!? I've called your name like a million times", Taehyung said as he snapped his fingers in front of your face bringing you back from your train of thoughts.
"I heard you the first time, what is it?", You said as you stuck your tongue at him and proceeded to take a bite from his popcorn.
He gave you a dirty look and swatted your hand and sighed as he repeated himself for the third time, "Do you wanna go for a walk?".
"It'll help loose all that fat chubbs", he continued as he smirked.
"Boi you did not just say I'm fat.", You replied as you acted to roll your sleeves up making him burst out laughing. You smiled as you looked at him laugh and mindlessly said yes to the walk.
You were now regretting your life decisions once again. You had totally forgotten about your plans with Jack and had to promise to buy him one of bigbang's albums to make him happy.
You sighed as you stared up at the sky, you still hadn't prepared for your presentation tomorrow and the stress was killing your mood.
You glanced at your side and saw Taehyung's face eluminated by the moon's light. His sharp features looked soft and pale, his skin smoother than silk. You honestly couldn't take your eyes off him.
He noticed you staring and gave you an award winning smile which made redness blossom on the apple of your cheeks, he noticed your shyness and his smile widened.
"We're pretty behind the others you know...", He said as he gestured towards the path which was now empty. You startled as you realized that they had left you both alone.
"Wanna sit for a while?", He asked as he noticed how tired you seemed from the long walk. On replying in the affirmative, the two of you sat down on a bench, looking up at the stars and enjoying the sound of the crickets chirruping.
You looked at Taehyung and caught him already looking at you. No words were exchanged, just silence as you both read each other's eyes under the moonlight.
Taehyung coughed breaking both of you out of your trance and rubbed his arms.... "It's getting a bit chilly isn't it?" He asked as he eyed your small frame.
"Yeah a little bit.", You replied as a shiver ran down your spine. Taehyung looked at you for a second before inching slightly closer, as if testing the waters. When you smiled, he pulled you closer and wrapped his arms around you. Instant warmth filled up your body as blood rushed to all parts of you.
Suddenly getting sleeping, you yawned cutely, pulling your sweater paw to cover your mouth. Taehyung chuckled, amused at your behavior and offered you his shoulder on which you leaned, closing your eyes and just taking in the moment of bonding with the boy you thought you'd be enemies with in all of your school year.
It wasn't awkward, peaceful silence engulfed the two of you. You were about to slip into a slumber when Taehyung cursed under his breath, his ringtone cutting through the silence, slapping you awake.
"Sorry.", he said as he tried to fish his phone out of his pocket.
"Yes hyung?", Taehyung spoke into the phone as your sleepy state snuggled closer into his arm, making the man smile.
"Ahh yes, we took a small break. Uhun. We'll be right there", Taehyung ended call, cooing at sight of your sleeping state. He quickly took a selfie before shaking you awake.
"Ella?", He called out softly. You whined, making him laugh which made you wake up.
"Omg did I fall asleep on you? I'm so sorry.", You said, embarrassed, trying to cover your face with your hair.
"The guys are waiting for us a little ahead, let's go?", He asked as he got up, stretching a bit before pulling you up with him as well.
You were quite as you reached the group, mind pondering over the past day you spent with the guy. Everything was pretty much a blur as the guys dropped you at a nearby coffee shop where an impatient Jack was waiting for your arrival.
You got out of the car and looked at Taehyung through the window.
"See you tomorrow kiddo.", You smiled as he stepped out of the car to give you a long, warm bear hug.
You felt safe, warm and right in that moment, you were confused above all.
Patting the guy on the back you walked towards Jack's van, ignoring the dirty looks and wiggly eyebrows.
You slept comfortably that night, his scent lingering on your clothes which you refused to change.
