The academy is quiet tonight, there is no overbearing chatter and no sign of students or professors milling around. It's eery almost, how quiet these halls can be. With no sounds of footsteps or the smell of anyone in this area - the coast is clear. So we make sure the connection between our cellphones is good, then Teo tucks away into one of the alcoves of the stone hallway while Lei and I head to the Headmistress' office.
Nelle and Morwenna are nowhere to be seen, and based on the lightness of their smells, it seems like they left together less than thirty minutes ago. Not knowing how much time that leaves us, I send Calvin a text to see of he can find out where the Headmistress is.
Lei breaks through the wards the same way as before, and now its time for my part. My hand hovers over the doorknob as Lei's earlier words ring through my head.
